Run and Become

This is the inspirational line that made me go and start running all over again after decades of decadence. Started by a highly committed and self motivated individual who has kicked up everything else to focus on spreading this message. Supported ably by a band of highly dedicated volunteer coaches who are all accomplished runners themselves, Runners High is the kind of group organization whose time has come. Three days a week our motley group, joined via a common interest or passion in running meet and run and train together, only to go our ways at the end of an hour or three of madness. Enjoyable as it is to us (once its done of course), madness is probably the word used most by friends, family and others as they listen to our tales of run fun; of stretching those limits, of endurance, of pain and injuries all washed away by that feeling of exhilaration when its completed. Commitment, honesty, self-examination, endurance, friendships and bonds, are among the many qualities that are acquired in the process. Yes the tag line is most apt, Run and Become!
