Brain Drains into Cell phone

A few weeks ago I realized its going to be November. It’s a month that is always full of celebration for me because the largest number of birthday and anniversary celebrations of friends and family that I have are in the month. As the days and weeks passed I realized something was missing. I was forgetting to call and wish my friends and folks. Quick introspection made me conclude that the memory circuits related to storing this information had been shut down and it had been transplanted into my trusted Nokia. Little had I realized that the little fella when stuck to my ear for long hours had the ability to suck out key portions of my hippocampus (maybe it just sucks the oxygen out of my ear but then that would be another investigation). Unwittingly I had put down the Nokia to sleep after long years of service and invested in a spanking new IPhone and in all the excitement of playing with this new toy, one that gets as close to the Douglas Adams hitchhikers guide as you can get, had not transferred these dates. Watch out folks I think those fiendish fins did have a plan after all. Having said all this, I guess its time to make amends to all my dear friends and family in case I missed wishing them on these memorable birthdays and anniversaries. Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary. May you all be blessed with long and happy lives!
